BrakeTime II -- Air Brake Timing System
The System
Data Acquisition Electronics
The parts that translate real world pressure readings into values the computer can understand. They include data acquisition electronics, cabling and pressure sensors (transducers).
BrakeTime Software
The software is used to configure system input, set test parameters, initiate/monitor tests, translate input, save data and publish the results.
Mini-Tractor And Tools
The hardware assemblies used to supply, modify and control air pressure and flow.
Personal Computer (Customer Furnished)
A computer adequate processing power and later version of Microsoft Windows XP or 7.
Tests And Functions
Service Brake Timing Test
Tests service brake application and release speed.
Spring Brake Exhaust
Tests how quickly the spring brake chambers exhaust pressure.
Differential Pressure
Tests and records system reaction while control pressure is increased and decreased. This can be used to establish compliance with differential requirements and/or diagnostic purposes
Pressure Scan
A free form test that can record brake system response to a variety of inputs. Provides a visual summary of system reaction. An excellent tool for diagnostics and performance evaluations.
Calibration
An easy to use procedure to insure your test equipment is performing as prescribed.
